These posts clearly demonstrate the fickle nature of the American public. The vast majority love THEIR health care but feel we need major reform. The vast majority love THEIR doctor, but blame doctor’s for a large part of the health care problem. Folks, it is time to take a good look in the mirror and see what you have and what you may be giving up in the false belief that we have such a failed medical system – that notion stoked by political demagogues and the media may well lead you to a place you do not want to go . . . obi jo
More than three in four Americans are “very satisfied” or “somewhat satisfied” with their own care, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll. But a substantial majority also say that the health care system needs fundamental change and that rising costs are a serious threat to the economy — a view that economists strongly share.
While 85 percent of respondents said the health care system needed to be fundamentally changed or completely rebuilt, 77 percent said they were very or somewhat satisfied with the quality of their own care.
